Offering Details

Private Yoga Therapy

All of the yoga therapy sessions start with your self-assessment, intake, and a short discussion of the conditions and symptoms you are experiencing, as well as the goals you wish to achieve. Co-creation of goals and connecting with you as a student form the foundation of our work together. Each session includes a mixture of postures, breathing exercises, meditation, self-reflection, and discussion on how we can use the many practices of yoga to improve your quality of life.

You'll also receive at least one home practice to continue your yoga therapy between sessions! We adjust your practice to fit your time and space restraints, and I provide to you a highly detailed copy of your customized practice.

First-time students must book the holistic package which includes 3 weekly sessions. Each session we will dive deeper into your practice, allowing for adjustments, improvements, and modifications to each element.

online Guided Meditation and Pranayama

Live one-on-one Guided Meditation and Pranayama (Breathing Techniques) classes are available online with Kelsey. Classes can be booked for 15 minutes or 30 minutes. All classes will include short discussion, guided meditation and visualization practices, and breathing techniques (pranayama) that fit your unique skill level and ability. This is a perfect addition or supplement to your private yoga therapy sessions or when you are traveling!

Donation-Based Meditation Class

Kelsey offers a 45 minute meditation and pranayama class at her home in North Portland, Oregon every Tuesday evening during the warmer months*. Classes consist of a guided breath awareness practice, followed by refinement of pranayama (breathing) techniques and a guided meditation. Class will be outdoors, seated, without any vigorous movement, and you can wear any comfortable clothing.

A $5 donation is suggested, but no one is turned away. A small tea gathering is offered after class.

*The class is weather dependent as it is held outdoors, so please plan accordingly. No props or mats are provided, so please bring your own. Some chairs provided if needed. Beginner and intermediate level breathing techniques are practiced. Please contact Kelsey if interested in attending these classes.

Public yoga Class

Kelsey teaches a variety of yoga classes in the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington area. You can find current classes on the calendar below. The exact prices for each class are not set by Kelsey, and they also differ due to studios and are subject to change without notice, so please keep this in mind.

Reoccuring weekly classes at Body Bliss Yoga in Washougal, WA include Yoga Fundamentals (Hatha) Thursdays, 11:15am-12:15pm, and Vinyasa Flow (Beginner/Intermediate Level) Fridays, 9:30am-10:45am.

Rates vary. Packages available through individual studios.


Workshops

Kelsey offers workshops each month for general yoga therapy as well as various workshops throughout the year on other topics including Ayurveda and Philosophy. Exact information for each workshop, as well as rates and location, is posted on the event page.

Yoga Therapy Consultations

I offer consultations for private yoga therapy to see if yoga therapy is the right fit for you. These 15-30 minute consultations can happen either over the phone or video call.

WHAT'S INCLUDED In a Yoga Therapy holistic Health package?

All first-time yoga therapy students will receive the following:

  • 1, 75-90 minute intake and assessment
  • 2, 60 minute follow-up sessions
  • At least one personal practice with handouts
  • Guided audio meditations and breathing exercises
  • Support and guidance from Kelsey between sessions
  • Customized attention for your individual needs
  • A written follow-up email after each session
  • Free access to 2 online meditation sessions or 2 free public classes*

Each follow-up session includes 15 minutes of assessment and check-in, followed by 45 minutes of practice and instruction. A past practice might be reassessed or a new practice created all together. You will receive a paper or electronic copy of your practice to keep. 

*Public yoga classes availability and location are subject to change. Offer expires 1 month from date of last session. Must preregister.

Other Offerings


Public Classes

Public classes take place in various locations around the metropolitan area. These classes are set by the studio which is providing the class, and rates and packages for the specific classes change accordingly. Drop-In rates usually range between $15-20, and most studios offer packages for multiple classes. Please go to the individual studio's website for more information, or contact Kelsey directly.

Workshops

The individual rates for workshops change according to the nature of the workshop, location, and timing. There are no set rates for workshops nor packages available. Specific booking and payment information for each workshop is provided on that event's page.

Donation Based Meditation Class

This class is open to the public, and offered as a drop-in class. To be a part of this class, students must register to ensure class size and communicate the location of the class.
